Teresa E. Green’s (Tegsy) photographic adventures started in high school when she received her first camera, a Canon SureShot. An avid traveler, she has captured simple and complex images at the same time. She enjoys discovering what’s out in the world and documenting it through the art of photography. Teresa is in her element capturing moments as they are happening.
She has earned awards at the Burbank Art Association’s Spring (2017, 2018, 2021, & 2022) and Fall (2016, 2018, & 2019) juried shows. Her photographs have been displayed at the Betsy Lueke Creative Art Center, La Galeria Gitana, Geo Gallery, Alkebu-lan Center’s Artist Gallery, Macy’s Burbank Town Center, and is currently on display at the Encino Terrace Center, Ground Level through June 2022. A photograph of Teresa’s, depicting the Burbank Tournament of Roses’ float for 2020 called “Rise Up,” is featured in The Friends of the Burbank Public Library 2022 calendar: “Friends Make All the Difference.”
In addition to her photographic endeavors, Teresa is a poet and enjoys other arts and activities, such as baking, coloring, 3D Printing, hiking, and is an avid tea drinker. She was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Burbank Tournament of Roses Association; a former Programs Chair for the Burbank Art Association (BAA), and a Lector at St. Francis Xavier Church.
